RISE® Robotics will be joining Innovatrix as one of our exhibitors at the upcoming DZOM EXPO taking place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Centre in Chicago, IL, on December 3–4, 2024.

The leader in high-performance and cost-effective electric linear actuation solutions, RISE® helps machine designers embrace high-efficiency, fuel-saving actuation solutions that compete with hydraulic cylinders. Designed for medium and heavy-duty applications, Beltdraulic™ provides fuel and emissions reductions, improves productivity, and extends machine life.

Their Beltdraulic technology harnesses powerful forces using a unique setup of RISE® Belts arranged like a block and tackle system inside RISE® BeltCylinder. Essentially, RISE® BeltCylinder works by having two sets of these block and tackle systems. These are positioned around a central RISE®BeltPowerUnit, allowing one set to feed into the other as it extends or retracts. For different needs, they offer both single and double-acting RISE® BeltCylinders. Single-acting cylinders are simpler, using just one block and tackle set for applications where maximum extension or retraction is key. Double-acting cylinders, on the other hand, use two sets for greater versatility and force acting in both directions. Both types of cylinders incorporate a RISE® BeltPowerUnit to turn rotary motion into linear belt motion with one exception – The main difference between single and double-acting RISE®BeltPowerUnit is whether this reservoir is used as a single-acting cylinder will need to wind up the excess belt. All RISE®BeltPowerUnit come equipped with essential components like inverters, motor brakes, gearboxes, and encoders, ensuring reliable and efficient operation across all our models.

The Beltdraulic SuperJammer is their strongest robotic arm. This state-of-the-art machine ensures faster load times, unparalleled precision with zero uncommanded movement, and unmatched stability by eliminating hydraulic drift.  Experience tighter control with reduced backlash/slop and the capability for meticulous tasks with variable speeds adjustable down to 0”/s. Maintenance is a breeze with a fluid-free design that also eliminates the risks and mess of hydraulic systems. It broadens your operational horizons with a 19% greater reach and 110º of roll, and benefits from the durability of an all-linkage design that eliminates the need for greased linear slides.

Beltdraulic™ Common Lifting Device (CLD) is an electronic-free, manually operated, compact lift purpose-built for hoisting critical components onboard the A/MC-130J or similar aircraft. The CLD consists chiefly of a multi-tube foldable erector set, internally routed Beltdraulic™, and a swivel-hook. It is ideal for handling line replaceable units (LRU), and it operates safely even in challenging conditions: while wearing MOPP4 gear, on terrains with up to a 5% incline, between temperatures of -30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F), and in wind speeds up to 25 knots. Built-in safety features ensure payloads remain secure, preventing unexpected drops. It is made to easily fit into a 6’X3’X3″ box, the CLD boasts a weight lighter than its lifting capacity.
